Trials of Diaspora- Book Review

Attached is the link to a book review I found about why Jewish hatred still exists in a supposedly humane and enlightened society. The book is titled Trials of Diaspora by Anthony Julius. He states the new English (and Continental) anti-Semitism is hatred for Israel, which among all the nations is declared to be illegitimate; however, the U.S. does not take part in this. It points out that the United States, despite bigots left and right, does not encourage the genteel anti-Semitism that is woven into the English academic and literary world.
